Katarina Givens is a solo deaf independent mixed media artist, driven by a lifelong dream of creating art from scratch. From childhood to the present, her love for drawing has been a constant, evolving from a hobby to a passion that spans across various mediums, including digital drawing on her iPad. Her inspiration is drawn from a unique blend of personal taste, hobbies, and her deep interest in capturing the simple, yet captivating stories of everyday life through her eyes. Katarina’s art is a reflection of her personal touch, where she thoughtfully plans her creations at her own pace, embracing her ever-changing "vision" to explore new subjects and themes in her distinctive style.

  • I'm passionate about creating art with my iPad and Procreate, and I've discovered that using a paper-like screen protector enhances the experience. It allows me to draw and paint with a natural feel, just like I would on traditional paper or canvas.

  • I create intricate designs on wood using an electric tool, and what makes this process truly unique is that each piece of wood is one-of-a-kind. The natural texture and grain of the wood inspire my design, resulting in genuinely special creations.

To initiate the commission process, a 30% non-refundable deposit is required upfront. This deposit secures your spot on my schedule and covers the initial stages of artwork creation.

The remaining 70% is due upon completion. This payment structure ensures both parties are committed to the project and facilitates a smooth and timely process.

Please note that custom sketches and paintings typically require 1-5 months to complete. Worldwide shipping is available once the piece is ready.
